Babysalmesang (in English: baby-hymn-singing) is a hugely popular musical activity for babies and new parents in Denmark, with monthly classes (8 classes in all) in English, hosted at Eliskirken. It is an opportunity for you and your baby to:

- Enjoy music, movement and rhythm together

- Share a playful and stimulating experience

- Learn songs and hymns in the beautiful church space

- Meet other local parents and babies

This workshop is an introduction to the practice of Babysalmesang, using English songs and hymns that everyone can join in with.

After the workshop there will be coffee and a chance to chat, ask questions etc.

The workshop is FREE but places are limited, so booking is required.

The workshop is suitable for babies up to 12 months.

Please bring a blanket or mat for your baby to lie on.

The workshop is led by Sarah Maxted. Sarah is a British singer who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. She is an experienced church musician and workshop leader, having previously taught baby and toddler classes at The Little London Music School and worked in the music team at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London.
