English and Farsi speaking community
A warm welcome and God’s blessings to you! Perhaps you are in Denmark as an expat, exchange student or even as a tourist.
Apostelkirken is a small lutheran church with a large vibrant fellowship of people from many places of the world. Here you’ll find a lot of Danes, Farsi, English and Ukrainian speaking people, predominantly young adults, families and students, who like you live in or around Copenhagen. All our sermons are translated into both English and Farsi with a small earpiece. The fellowship’s center is the belief in a good and merciful God, as He is described in the old and new testament and how he is revealed to us through Christ.
The sermons focus on the biblical messages, principles and sound advice still useful today. We believe in a forgiving God who cares deeply about his creation, and who shares his responsibility with us as stewards of His creation.
Every Sunday we gather to meet and grow as a community. You might recognise songs from back home as both farsi and english hymns find their way into our liturgy.
During the sermon we offer a special program for the kids with biblical stories and songs. After the church service many choose to stay for free coffee, fellowship and a bite to eat. Sunday Service is always at 10.30.
